Edit: Okay, I finally found out who the other guy is. It's Seth Myers. :D

14" x 18" acrylic on canvasboard.

A scene from one of my favourite Christopher Walken SNL sketches. :D Although it's apparently not very popular since I couldn't find any info on it. Like ... who is that other guy?? I think it's Chris Parnell, but I can't find any credits for this sketch, not even on the SNL's own website. You'd think some geek would have made a webpage with every single credit for the entire series.

THIS PAINTING WAS CHALLENGING. Especially shading a yellow T-shirt. Yellow is a bizarre colour because when you add anything to darken it, it stops being yellow. (Adding black turns it into this weird olive green.) But I think it worked out pretty well.

PS. My theatre company is having an arts festival over the next two weeks and I hope to sell this one for $130. That includes a $30 frame.

Oh my gosh you couldn't have picked a creepier man to paint. Walken is in the nightmare section of my brain, permanently.

I think you did a good job with the yellow shading though! I am glad to see you still working in this medium.

Woooo. I seem to hit upon your nightmares a lot.

Thank you! Nope, no plans to abandon painting forever ... yet. I still need to work on making colours more subtle. For my next thing I'm going to try watering down acrylics to use like watercolour.

Crazy awesome job, there; the facial expressions are just priceless!

How in the world do you shade like that? O.o I tried acrylics a few times and always wound up with mud...
